LOCATION: Commutable from Hull, Beverley, Grimsby, Lincoln, Leeds, Sheffield, Doncaster, York, Selby

THE ROLE: This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our Public Sector client working in their busy multi-disciplinary practice covering a wide range of exciting building projects. They offer flexi working and condensed working - 37 hours per week. This is a hybrid role with the requirement to be in the office a minimum of 1 day per week.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Degree in a construction related discipline.
  • Extensive knowledge of working with NEC forms of contract.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Ability to analyse complex technical problems, develop solutions and convey these to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to produce clear and concise reports.
  • Extensive construction experience both pre and post contract.
  • Experience of managing scheme budgets in excess of £10m.
  • In depth knowledge of Project Management practices and principles.
  • Budget management and cost planning practices and principles.
  • Construction and sustainability practices.
  • Risk/Value Management.
  • In depth knowledge of UK Health and Safety practices and procedures, current UK CDM Regulations, UK Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act 2022.
  • Ability to demonstrate financial control of programme budgets and costs.
  • Experience of leading and working in multi-disciplinary teams including staff from other departments to deliver service functions.
  • Be a team player.
  • Good customer care skills.
  • Leadership, interpersonal and motivational skills in terms of team building.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with flexible approach to duties.
  • Good IT Skills in Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Project.
