Position Title: Head of Technology (Remote)
Contract: Independent Contractor, Full-time
Location: 100% remote
Working hours: 40 hours per week

Our continued growth means we are recruiting an experienced Head of Technology who will lead the function as we evolve and ensure it is structured and efficiently operating to continue scaling the Firm at pace. This will suit someone able to communicate their technical strategy at different levels with both tech and non-tech audiences, whilst leading an exciting transformation of our tech landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Leading on the firm\’s technology strategy and budget, interpreting business requirements into technology solutions.
- Assessing current and future technological needs, anticipating how we need to design our tech strategy and solutions to meet the needs of the future.
- Project managing a range of new initiatives and improvements to enable secure platforms and deliver optimal performance.
- Collaborating with other functional teams in reviewing and documenting existing/future processes, platforms, systems etc.
- Providing insight and recommendations to senior leadership team on improvements
- Accountability for BAU and Transformation. Including accurate planning, forecasting, tracking and reporting. Ongoing management and maintenance of all existing IT teams, services and platforms – ensuring systems are safe, secure, updated and available.
Qualifications and attributes:
- A minimum of 15+ years\’ experience in technology, both hands on and at a management level.
- Leadership and team management experience and someone who is able to articulate technical strategy and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Extensive knowledge of platforms and technologies (Cloud, Systems, MS suite, IT, Architecture etc.)
- Fluent, business level communication in English (if not a native speaker).
- Experience implementing and maintaining tech stacks specifically for remote company environments.
