Job Description
A Financial Services Company is currently seeking a Digital Workplace Engineer, to join the Infrastructure Services team in London.
This position will help shape the digital landscape, and EUC standards, across the whole company estate.
This will involve elements of design, development, and maintenance of the core DataWarehouse and EUC, focusing on areas across Windows 11 OS for use with Virtual Desktops, Azure, M365 as well as on-prem hosted DW and EUC areas, such as Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop.
Key duties will involve standard builds ensuring the builds are patched and enhanced to meet CIS Standards. To do this the team uses tools such as InTune, SCCM, Entra ID Active Directory, Conditional Access Policies, Group Policy, and security concepts to provide a CIS compliant service.
This position will involve working with multiple stakeholder groups, including IT Production Operations, Information Security and other key stakeholders to help contribute to the creation of future strategies and roadmaps.
Requirements;
- Solid experience working within financial services or similar environment
- Experience working within Digital Workplace, Desktop Engineering, or similar
- Strong experience across Windows 11 for use with virtual desktops
- Knowledge of services such as Entra ID, Active Directory, SSO, idP, M365, Intune, Windows server infrastructure and PKI is essential with knowledge of SCCM, Citrix, Office, Azure Virtual Desktop, Linux and OpenShift Container Platform systems being highly desirable.
- Detailed knowledge of EUC technologies to support the VDI estate
