We’re partnering with a highly regarded financial services organisation to hire a Product Manager to help shape proposition strategy, influence product development and support commercial growth across the insurance market. This is a strategic role suited to someone who understands the insurance landscape, enjoys working with data and market insight, and can translate that into product innovation and business growth.
For this position the manager is looking for someone who can look at how the product could evolve, ensuring their products remain competitive, commercially effective and aligned to client needs. Working cross-functionally with commercial, operations, sales and marketing teams, you’ll help improve the customer and broker journey, support go-to-market initiatives and contribute to the growth of a well-established product suite.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to product strategy, proposition development and roadmap planning
- Use market insight, data and broker feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Support prioritisation of product initiatives and management of the product backlog
- Work with internal stakeholders to enhance customer and intermediary experience
- Partner with sales, operations and marketing on proposition development and go-to-market execution
- Track commercial performance and use data-driven insights to support decision making
- Manage third-party relationships and contribute to pricing, supplier and operational discussions
- Ensure product development aligns with governance, regulatory and commercial requirements
- Experience in Product Management, Proposition, Change or Strategy roles within insurance or financial services
- Strong understanding of the broker market, intermediary distribution or wider insurance ecosystem
- Proven ability to use data and insight to support product decisions and business cases
- Commercial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of governance, regulatory or conduct considerations within financial services
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic, high-visibility role with genuine scope to influence product direction
