The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
This person will be working across the Technology Department with the Project Office and be responsible for managing an off-shore team, servicing the long-term change programme across the Finance portfolio covering accounting, general ledger and financial reporting requirements across the Bank. This person will also work closely with Business Analysts and SMEs and perform thorough review of business requirements, as well as facing off to Business Finance stakeholders on a regular basis.
The Technical Lead will define, plan, and execute technology projects related to general ledger, as well as acting as a bridge between Technology and Finance, helping to shape how to produce consolidated financials from disparate application and technology platforms.
Other key duties will include ensuring all new and existing accounting technology solutions adhere strictly to internal risk frameworks, operational security policies, and external financial regulations (e.g., SoX, Basel 3, PRA/FSCS requirements).
Requirements:
- Deep experience working with Oracle Fusion Financials ERP solution
- Good understanding of Project Life cycle tools such as JIRA, Service Now etc.
- Ability to lead a Technical Team of Developer/Configuration Engineers
- Experience in IT project delivery, focused specifically on Finance or Accounting Technology within an Investment Bank or major Financial Services institution.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex, cross-functional technical delivery on projects with significant investment budgets in a regulated environment.
- Have a practical understanding of Financial Operations.
