Sterlings is currently partnered with an Investment Bank looking to hire an Application Support Analyst to join their Front Office Rates & Credit Technology Team. The team provides support and maintenance across various desks and multiple asset classes, including credit and interest rate derivatives. The team employs a data-driven approach to enhance production stability through metrics and reporting, collaborating closely with Application Development teams and external vendors to ensure production stability and continuous improvement.

The Application Support Analyst will be responsible for process improvements, fixes, enhancements, and coordinating software releases in UAT and Production environments. Additional duties include updating support documentation and owning the development process post-release.

Required experience:

  • Strong Application Support experience within a financial trading environment.
  • Solid knowledge of derivative products such as interest rate swaps, credit default swaps, exchange-traded futures and options, and convertible bonds.
  • Proven technical analysis and investigative skills, with the ability to work under high pressure.
  • Technologies include Ulinx/Linux and SQL Server.
  • Ideally, experience or knowledge of ION Marketview and Bloomberg TOMS.
