We are currently partnering with a global, highly regulated financial services organisation on the appointment of a Director / Head of Platform Engineering. This is a strategic leadership opportunity to define and execute the Platform Engineering vision for a large‑scale enterprise technology estate, enabling engineering teams through modern platforms, automation and cloud‑native capabilities, working across the entire technology landscape covering all business areas.
You’ll lead a multidisciplinary engineering function responsible for Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Cloud, Database, Storage and Build & Release, driving the adoption of DevOps principles and creating the foundations for modern software delivery.
Responsibilities- Define the Platform Engineering strategy and roadmap
