Equities Application Support (Middle Office Platform) - Investment Bank (London Area)

A London City based Bank, is currently looking for someone to join their EMEA Equities Technology team, to help support their Middle Office platform/ applications.

Specifically, the team support Applications to the Middle Office/Operations users, covering areas such as booking, allocation and commission issues.

Additional responsibilities include the assisting of onboarding new clients to the trading platform, creation of new client reports and capturing/working with the development team to create new functionality.

The company use Fidessa CTAC heavily within the Middle Office, so any exposure to this is beneficial, but not essential, as long as they are willing to develop their skills in this area.

Requirements:

• Application Support experience across different equity business such as CASH/ETS/SWAP/Derivative/FX etc.

• Knowledge of global equity trading from a middle office perspective, such as trade booking, allocation workflows, commission.

• Knowledge of FIX protocol and good SQL skills are strongly preferred, as is Unix skills.

• Experience having technically supported a trading or allocation system, such as configuring layouts, updating registry files, showing users how to install and launch application, etc.

• Experience with Fidessa CTAC module beneficial

• Have a collaborative and adaptable outlook.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
