A Financial Services Software Company is currently seeking a Cloud Migration Software Consultant to join their Technology team. The company is currently migrating clients from their on-prem solution to the cloud platform, with an ongoing programme of work over the coming years. This person will work with more senior members of the team to collaborate with internal teams to execute customer database migrations, ensuring accuracy and minimal disruption.
During the migration, this person will be involved in technical investigations, analysing and resolving migration failures using tools like Excel, SQL, and JIRA. Other duties will include database connectivity, supporting database connections and configurations for migration processes. This role will involve cross-functional collaboration, working closely with Customer Readiness, Sales, and Product teams to ensure alignment throughout the migration process.
Skills Required:
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SQL and Excel for data analysis, troubleshooting, and data migration validation.
- Basic Financial Understanding: Ability to interpret financial accounts and recognise key components such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and tax computations.
