Sterling Williams are working with an International Bank based in Birmingham (Edgbaston – B15) who are looking to hire a permanent Relationship Support Officer.

Permanent – Full-Time; Office based 5 days per week
Salary circa £ pa plus benefits

The Relationship Support Officer (RSO) is primarily responsible for assisting the Branch or Relationship Manager in effective client portfolio management; strong communication skills and the confidence to manage frequent client contact is a key requirement.
The Job holder will become familiar with a specific client portfolio, develop an understanding of client requirements, plus knowledge of the Bank's range of products (Corporate/Commercial/SME Banking) The RSO will provide support to the Branch/RM in the following core processes, Credit proposal processing, relationship facilitation, analysis/documentation and customer service and will liaise with Branch Operations Staff in execution of these duties.
The successful candidate will likely have:
- University Degree or equivalent qualification
- Banking business experience of circa 2 years
- Technical background and understanding of different financial instruments
- Experience of financial analysis, and/or credit writing is beneficial
- Languages such as Urdu or Punjabi would be an advantage – fluent English is essential
