Sterling Williams are working alongside a City of London based International Bank who are looking to make a permanent hire into their Finance team; this is at Deputy Manager level, and is office based 5 days per week.
The responsibilities for this role are broad, but will consist of the following:
- Oversee the effective operation of month end accounting processes in accordance with the agreed month end time table
- Production of monthly management accounts and submit it to Head of Finance for review
- Consolidation of monthly financial accounts feed into Board pack and CEO report
- Carry out the month end closing ensuring all the manual entries have been posted correctly
- Month end closing and preparation and submission of flash
- Offer insightful MI on spending trends cost-saving
- Assistance to Head of Finance and Finance team in ALCO meetings (Finance related)
- Assistance in Annual Budget and Business Plan preparation
- Managing MI Pack preparation for ALCO, Management Accounts, etc.
- Preparation of our annual financial statements.
