The role:

We are seeking an experienced NDT Technician with a minimum of 2 years industry experience to carry out non-destructive testing and inspection activities on pressure vessels and associated components within the oil and gas / Power industries. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products meet industry standards, customer specification and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform non-destructive testing on pressure vessels, welds and fabricated components.
  • Conduct inspections using:
    • Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
    • Dye Penetrant Testing (PT)
    • Radiographic Testing (RT)
    • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
  • Interpret and evaluate inspection results in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
  • Work closely with production, welding and quality teams to resolve inspection findings.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as an NDT Technician
  • PCN Level 2 Certification in: MT, PT, RT, UT
  • Experience in oil and gas industry.
  • Knowledge and experience inspecting pressure vessels, welded fabrications and associated components.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawing and welding documentation.
