The Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager will develop, implement and maintain the Sterling Thermal Technology (STT) Quality Management System (QMS), lead relationships with the customers quality teams and compliance authorities.
Who you will interact with:
- Lead the NCR (Root Cause Analysis) Process producing key analysis metrics
- Maintain Company procedures
- Lead Audits with support of wider Quality team
- Maintain a high standard of ISO 9001 accreditation
- Review existing sub-cons (with Procurement) and audit the new sub-cons
- Support wider Quality team on ASME manual
Person Specification:
- Leadership: Ability to motivate and guide wider STT when/if required
- Growth Mindset: Seeks continuous improvement and process improvement, using LEAN and CI tools where required
- Collaborative: Works effectively with wider Quality team, Engineering, Production and Finance teams
- Resilient: Pragmatic problem-solver in a hands-on environment
Qualifications:
- Desirable:
- Bachelors degree in STEM subject or equivalent
- 5+ years in senior quality role
- Experience PED, ASME VIII and welding standards or equivalent
- Experience of fabrication/metalwork processes
- Essential:
- Experience of ISO 9001
- Experience in senior quality role within high regulation industry
Key results areas:
- Ensure accreditation reviews, internal and external audits are planned and delivered on time
- Monitor and support delivery of root cause and corrective actions in a timely manner
- Work with wider Quality team (Quality Manager) that their skills matrix is maintained and deliver development and improvement plans in line with agreed standards
