We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our Head Office Commercial team as a Commercial Manager. This role involves a blend of sales analysis, supplier management, marketing coordination, and product development to drive our business forward. Sterling Supergroup Ltd, based in Maldon, Essex is a not-for-profit true members co-operative supporting 35 wholesale foodservice businesses throughout the UK and Ireland, all of our members are family-owned and operated.
- Supplier Management: Meet and vet new suppliers, negotiate terms, and monitor performance with key suppliers.
- Product Sourcing: Source new products that align with our brand and market needs.
- Promotion Management: Manage various promotions to enhance product visibility and sales.
- Sales Analysis: Analyse past sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop, negotiate, and manage Sterling’s Caterers Essentials branded products in liaison with suppliers.
- Quality Control: Conduct sample testing to ensure product quality.
- Coordinate marketing and advertising efforts to boost promotions.
- Proficiency with Office Programs, particularly Excel.
- Travel will be required monthly.
