Summary
We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team at Sterling Sinclair Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting containers across various locations in Scotland. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional moving services.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a class 1 HI-AB and drag truck to transport goods and belongings to designated locations.
Ensure timely delivery of items while adhering to all traffic regulations and safety standards.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Load and unload items carefully, securing them properly for transit.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Requirements
Valid commercial driving license (CDL) with a clean driving record and HIAB ticket.
Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Physical stamina and strength to handle loading and unloading tasks.
