About the Role
Sterling is expanding, and we’re looking for experienced Approved Electricians (2391) to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installations across a range of commercial projects, including healthcare, education, and other public sector buildings.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and testing on commercial and public sector projects.
- Ensure all work complies with current wiring regulations (BS7671) and company standards.
- Conduct inspection and testing, completing relevant certification to a high standard.
- Work effectively as part of a site team, maintaining strong communication with colleagues, clients, and management.
- Adhere to all site safety requirements and promote a positive health and safety culture.
- Diagnose and rectify faults on electrical systems and installations
Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) Inspection and Testing qualification.
- AM2 and ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician).
- Proven experience in commercial electrical installation, ideally within health, education, or public sector environments.
- Full UK driving licence.
