We are currently supporting a fantastic client looking for an additional Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the West Midlands.

Overview
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be a vital member of the project team, responsible for managing aspects of the commercial and contractual activities on the assigned sections of the project. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the project's financial success and delivering it to the highest standards of quality, within budget and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Design concept, cost and price estimation
- Negotiation and presentation of contracts (for clients and subcontractors), respectively tender documents
- Building contract scrutiny and terms of contract analysis
- Quantities measurements, project cash flow prediction
- Acquisition and assessment of client requirements, including after-sales service and CRM
- Conducting comprehensive cost estimation and preparing accurate cost plans
- Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and agreement of terms
- Monitoring project costs and variations, providing proactive cost advice and control measures
- Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and risk management
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Experience with projects in the Industrial, Warehouse or Shed environments would be a distinct advantage.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Happy to work on-site 5 days a week in Birmingham with travel to site as needed.
