We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plasterer to join our construction and renovation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying plaster, cement, and similar materials to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create smooth or decorative finishes in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing cracks, and applying bonding agents.
- Mix and apply different types of plaster.
- Apply coats of plaster to interior or exterior surfaces for both functional and decorative purposes.
- Create smooth or textured finishes using trowels, brushes, or other tools.
- Install and repair drywall and other backing materials as needed.
- Ensure surfaces are level and properly aligned.
- Apply decorative plasterwork such as cornices, arches, and ceiling roses when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a plasterer or in a similar role.
- NVQ Level 2.
- CSCS Blue Card.
