About the Role
On behalf of an established industry client, we are seeking an organized and proactive Fleet Coordinator to manage daily vehicle operations. This is an entirely on-site position ideal for a detailed administrator capable of keeping a busy fleet compliant, operational, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily fleet logistics, vehicle assignments, and schedule routine maintenance or repairs.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance, including taxing, MOTs, servicing, and insurance management.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, driver documentation, and maintenance logs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers regarding vehicle incidents, breakdowns, and repairs.
- Process fleet-related invoices, penalty charge notices (PCNs), and fuel card allocations.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in fleet administration, transport coordination, or a related logistical role.
- Strong working knowledge of UK vehicle compliance standards and operational regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accurate data entry.
- Clear communication skills for liaising with external vendors, contractors, and internal staff.
- Proficiency in MS Office and fleet management software systems.
