The role

To work within a department, based at our Birmingham HQ on the Birmingham Business Park (near the NEC and Birmingham International Railway Station):

  • Using internal systems to create documentation that will enable freight to be moved to customer specifications, on time, with all necessary customs and legal documentation, including:
  • Raise customs documentation to ensure the freight can move from country to country.
  • Collate all documents and distribute them to customers and carriers, as required.
  • Prepare, process, and check invoices.

What we are looking for

  • Good verbal and written communication skills to provide a professional image to customers and suppliers.
  • The capacity to work in a high-pressure environment while remaining calm.
  • The ability to liaise with a global network of agents, suppliers, shipping lines, and hauliers.
  • The skill to prioritize a large number of tasks to ensure accuracy and deliver results with great attention to detail and a high sense of urgency.
  • A positive attitude and good problem-solving skills.
  • The drive to succeed and contribute to the business.
