Our client, a prominent UK property management firm, is looking for a dependable Building Caretaker to join their team in Birkenhead. This is a key part-time role working 20 hours per week (10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday), ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and interacting with residents. Your key responsibilities will include: * Building Cleanliness: Ensuring all communal areas, including hallways, entrances, and stairwells, are kept clean, tidy, and presented to a high standard. * Waste & Bin Management: Managing the bin stores, keeping them orderly, and ensuring all rubbish is correctly segregated in line with local guidelines. * Safety & Compliance: Conducting weekly fire alarm checks and maintaining accurate compliance logs for the building. * Tenant Engagement: Acting as a polite, approachable, and courteous point of contact for residents, dealing with day-to-day building queries with a helpful attitude. * Access Control & Security: Monitoring the building perimeter and communal areas, tactfully and firmly managing access issues, to ensure the security and peace of mind of the residents.
