Key Responsibilities: β’ Develop and build relationships to ensure a high level of customer service is provided to customers β’ Ensure freight is moved on time with all the necessary documentation β’ Arrange haulage with shipping line β’ Ensure all relevant documents are on hand as required β’ Ensure requests and queries are resolved and actioned quickly and efficiently β’ Communicate with overseas agents, customers and suppliers in a clear precise manner β’ Use customer SAP systems as and when required β’ Take ownership of your own training and development so as to continuously improve and develop General Skills β’ Industry and operational knowledge of Ocean freight β’ An understanding of why attention to detail matters and the commercial impact this has β’ Able to cope and accustomed to working under pressure to meet fixed deadlines β’ Strong numerical and commercial skills β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills β’ Excellent attention to detail β’ Excellent usage of computer / operating system (Microsoft Windows) along with other office applications (Microsoft Office) (Cargowise β preferable) β’ Proactive, team worker with excellent time management and organisation skills
