Job Title: HR & Payroll Administrator
Location: Dunmow, Essex
Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 (Full-time, On-site)

This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who wants hands-on exposure across both generalist HR administration and payroll processing. Working fully on-site alongside an established team, you will serve as a key point of contact for employee queries and help keep the business’s most valuable asset—its people—supported and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Administration: Assist with employee onboarding, preparing contracts, maintaining confidential personnel files, and logging absence and holiday records.
- Payroll Support: Collate monthly timesheets, process payroll data, calculate extra hours or deductions, and assist with general payroll queries.
- First Line Support: Act as a helpful and professional point of contact for staff inquiries regarding company policies, pay, and benefits.
- Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate HR databases and assist with basic reporting and audit checks.
- General Coordination: Provide administrative support for recruitment activities, training sessions, and general office operations.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Previous office administration experience (HR or payroll exposure is a plus, but full training will be provided).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-service mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Full commitment to working on-site Monday to Friday.
