Sterling Recruitment Services are looking to recruit an experienced Stock and Quality Controller to join our client on a permanent basis. Working between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday. The purpose of the role is to control clients’ inventory and all stock control functions. Warehouse duties as and when required.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Stock Taking/Counting/cycle counting
- Stock Organisation
- Stock Updating
- Stock investigations
- Keeping accurate records
- Assisting with root cause analysis
- Support Client warehouse / stock viewing visits
- Manage control measures to ensure all errors, inaccuracies and discrepancies are identified, addressed and resolved.
- Overall Stock Management using Warehouse Management System
- Warehouse duties as and when required
Skills:
- Ability to work under pressure using your own initiative
- Excellent Time Management
- Very good attention to detail
- Basic understanding of warehouse workings
- Excellent organisation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable navigating a large warehouse in order to locate customer items
- Good numeracy and literacy
