The predicted salary is between 14 - 14 £ per hour.
We are now recruiting for a class 2 skip driver and occasional van driver to join our clients growing recycling facility based in Middlesbrough.
About the Role The successful person will be responsible for delivering and collecting skips to customers in and around the North East.
You will carry out daily vehicle checks, ensure all paperwork is completed accurately, and comply with all road transport and health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect skips to commercial customers.
- Operate skip vehicles safely.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections.
- Complete delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
- Follow all company procedures and health & safety requirements. Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous skip or roll-on/roll-off experience is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
