HGV Class 1 Driver – Derby (DE24)
Ongoing Monday to Friday Work | Full-Time Hours
Sterling Personnel is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers for ongoing work based out of a major site in Derby (DE24).
This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable drivers looking for clean, consistent weekday work with fixed shift patterns.
Pay Rates:
- PAYE: £16.50 / hour
- LTD: £21.50 / hour (handled depending on site policy)
The Role:
- Work Pattern: Monday to Friday (No mandatory weekend shifts)
- Location: Derby (DE24 area)
- Type of Work: Ongoing trunking and planned distribution
- Clean, manageable shifts with modern, well-maintained fleet vehicles
- Reliable start times and weekly pay
What We Need From You:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Good understanding of driver hours and tacho regulations
- Punctual, professional, and customer-focused attitude
