About the Role: Our award-winning Food and Beverage team are at the hub of our business, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced server to join our Swilcan Loft Restaurant. Swilcan Loft is a 74-cover restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor terrace overlooking the 17th hole of the Old Course and one of golf’s most famous landmarks, Swilcan Bridge – from which Swilcan Loft takes its name. This position would suit someone with strong waiting experience and with the desire to develop. The role will include preparing for service, maintaining high standards of service and presentation, being responsible for your own section, being the designated leader on shift, providing a 5-star experience and creating lasting memories for our guests who travel from around the globe to visit us.
Responsibilities:
- Take and deliver accurate orders while ensuring prompt and professional service.
- Attending to any guest queries and enquiries in a caring and helpful manner, and with a commitment to dealing with their issues in a positive way.
- You’ll maintain the highest standards of service; restaurant setup and presentation throughout the outlet.
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us memorable in every way.
Requirements:
- Previous server and customer service experience.
- Great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual.
- Keen eye for detail, an organised approach and willingness to exceed guest expectation.
- You want to be the best and work with the best – learning from the experts in our team and sharing your knowledge with us.
- A positive "can do" attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner.
