Production Shift Leader, KohlerMira Ltd, Hull Factory
Onsite – Melton, North Ferriby, Hull.
Salary up to £36,000 plus 9% Shift Premium, subject to skills & experience, plus afantastic benefits package including cycle to work, EV leasing, staff discountsand bonus scheme.

Role Summary
A senior production leadership role reportingdirectly to the Manufacturing Manager with responsibility for building a highperforming, continuous improvement culture. You will be supporting the ManufacturingManager with day-to-day duties, overseeing a group of 15-20 people and ensuringan efficient operation in achieving business targets. You will provideleadership and line management to the team, coordinating their workload,providing support to ensure that the team delivers their goals.
You will also monitor issues and ensureproduction targets are meet in line with businesses Key Performance Indicatorsand working together as a team to comply to quality standards and deliverproduction plans to meet our customer needs, whilst maintaining a safe workingenvironment.
This is a rotating shift role:
Early Shift: Monday to Thursday 6am until 2.30pm, Friday 6am until 10.50am
Late Shift: Monday to Thursday 2.30pm until 12.10am
Basic Function
– Ensure people and resources are utilised in an efficient manner to meet delivery requirements.
– Ensure associates follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements.
– Ensure Adherence to company safety rules and procedures.
– Identify improvement opportunities within the organisation.
– Provides training, understand teams strengthens and opportunities to support their development journey.
– Organise and lead Route Cause Analysis activity as required.
– Lead and support with work that targets and improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People metrics.
– Accountable for driving 5S.
– Identify improvements in performance metrics and drive change, provide support and input to continuous improvement activities identified.
– Consistently promote high standards of behaviour and performance that meet expected company standards.
– Work positively with support functions to fully define the processes/procedures/controls relevant to team activities.
