Finance Business Partner – FP&A
Hybrid Role – Cheltenham

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Finance Business Partner to provide FP&A support to key functional areas – New Product Development (NPD), Marketing, IT and HR. In this role you will act as a strategic advisor, delivering data-driven insights and forward looking analysis to support business decisions.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills with a proficiency in financial modelling and reporting, enabling effective support for cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities
• Partner with Development, HR, Marketing and IT leaders to develop and manage departmental budgets and forecasts. Conduct variance analysis to monitor budget performance and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support the Marketing and NPD teams with the launch of new products and initiatives, providing financial insight and guidance on Profitability Index (PI) models to help drive acceptable Returns on Investment (ROI) and aid decision making.
• Implement processes to drive effective Post Investment Appraisals, including reconciliations to understand how and why project returns differ from original plans.
• Be the lead financial support for the bi-annual Capital Planning process for K&B UK, ensuring spend stays in line with agreed limits and that projects deliver an acceptable ROI for the business.
• Develop and deliver detailed financial reports for senior leadership across the brands, highlighting key performance indicators and providing insights into business performance.
• Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly forecasts in BPC, collaborating with Finance colleagues to gather relevant data and insights.
• Mentor junior finance team members, promoting best practices in business partnering through strong analytical, communication and strategic thinking skills.
• Aligned to the business’s culture and strategic plan, seek continuous improvement in all areas of work to improve efficiency, control and reduce manual or non-value-added work.
What We’re Looking For
•Minimum 2 years post-qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA
•Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
•Be able to work under general supervision and to tight deadlines
•Professional knowledge and skill
•SAP and BPC experience would be advantageous
•Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Ability to balance technical expertise with commercial insight and a continuous improvement mindset
•Willingness to travel occasionally
