Finance Analyst – Onsite – Cheltenham

To help us reach our goals, we’re looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Finance team on a fixed term position for 3 years whilst you study for your CIMA qualification. Find out more below!

If you\’ve recently completed your AAT qualification, gained some hands-on experience, and are now eager to dive deeper into the world of finance, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Alternatively, maybe you’ve recently graduated from university and are looking for your first role in finance.

We’re looking for a Finance Analyst who is passionate about learning, driven to succeed, and excited to begin their CIMA journey with full support from us.

This is more than just a job — it’s a launchpad for your career in finance. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, working on real business challenges while developing your technical and analytical skills. Over three years, we’ll support you to achieve your Level 7 Accounting and Taxation Professional apprenticeship and CIMA professional qualification, helping you to grow into a confident and capable finance professional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Analysing financial data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Supporting month-end and year-end processes
  • Collaborating with teams across the business to provide financial insights
  • Helping to improve financial systems and processes

Skills / Requirements

  • Good organisational skills and time management
  • A solid team player
  • Problem solver – presents options when escalating issues
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • AAT qualified (Level 4 or Equivalent), with some practical experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Mathematics
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Committed to completing the CIMA qualification
  • Somebody not currently in full-time education and residing in England
