About the Role

We are looking for a Supervisor to join our In-Room Dining team at The Old Course Hotel. The In Room Dining team strives to provide great food and high levels of service to our guests who choose to dine in their room. As Supervisor, you will support your team to deliver fast, friendly and reliable service by leading from the front, coaching your team and helping to create a positive and inclusive workplace.

This role is ideal for someone with recent supervisory experience in hospitality, or a strong fine dining background who is ready to take the next step into a supervisory position.

In this role you will:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening/closing procedures
  • Prepare the amenity list for the guests arriving that day
  • Ensure POS accuracy and cash handling procedures are followed
  • Assist the Manager with sales tracking, reporting, and cost control
  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout the service
  • Ensure service rituals, grooming standards and guest interactions consistently align with brand guidelines
  • Supervise team members during shifts, ensuring roles are clearly executed
  • Assist with onboarding and on-the-job coaching of new team members to ensure service standards are met

To be successful in this role you will have the following qualities and experience:

  • At least 1 years experience in a supervisory role from front line teams within a similar environment
  • Operational knowledge of ordering and stock rotation
  • Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
  • Good knowledge about food and safety laws and best practices
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
  • Take pride in personal appearance and hygiene, great grooming
  • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative

Hours: Permanent Full Time, 40hrs over 5 days

Salary: £30,197.35 + tronc
