About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Assistant Manager to join our award winning Food & Beverage team looking after our two Cafes in the resort, Herbs and Kohler Waters Spa Café. As an Assistant Manager within our vibrant café outlets, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional guest experience, ensuring every visit reflects the warmth, quality, and attention to details synonymous with a five-star resort.

Supporting the Manager, you will take a hands‑on approach to daily operations—leading the team on the floor, coordinating service across restaurant and bar, and maintaining seamless service flow at all times. You will be a visible and inspiring presence, championing high standards, driving team engagement, and ensuring a culture of professionalism and collaboration.

From overseeing reservations and managing guest feedback to supporting training and development, you will help create an environment where both guests and colleagues thrive. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to grow their leadership skills while contributing to a dynamic, guest‑focused operation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven leadership experience in a similar environment is essential
  • A strong understanding of food and beverage operations with a desire to grow and develop in this space
  • A confident and collaborative leadership style with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Sound knowledge of coffee standards and barista skills
  • Calm under pressure with excellent problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency in POS systems and restaurant booking software
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • A vibrant, guest‑focused personality with a genuine passion for hospitality

Permanent Full Time 40hrs over 5 days

Salary

£34,866.56 per annum
