The Role:
The Warehouse Porter plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience. Key responsibilities include:
• Storing, handling, picking, and packing materials and orders
• Preparing and finalising orders for delivery
• Loading and unloading vehicles, as well as assembling, preparing, and performing quality checks on furniture
• Collaborating with team members to support colleagues and assist customers as needed
• Assisting drivers with the delivery of furniture across multiple locations and routes
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment within the warehouse
• Communicating clearly and working effectively with both supervisors and colleagues
This role is essential in delivering exceptional service and ensuring the seamless operation of the warehouse and delivery process.
