We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented Payroll & HR Administrator to join our People Team! This role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll administration while providing essential support across the employee lifecycle.

Working closely with colleagues across HR & Finance you will play a supportive role in managing end‑to‑end payroll processes, maintain employee records, support benefits administration, and assist with onboarding and off‑boarding activities. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, maintaining data integrity within our HR and payroll systems, and providing excellent support to employees on payroll and HR‑related matters. Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a proactive and dependable individual with strong administration experience and a keen eye for detail. You will be comfortable handling confidential information, managing multiple priorities, and working collaboratively with other departments across the business. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a payroll, HR administration, or a People Operations role
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, statutory deductions, and payroll compliance requirements (desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Knowledge of employee benefits administration, including pensions and other benefit schemes (desirable)
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • A customer‑focused approach and the ability to respond professionally to employee queries
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Payroll Lead with processing and managing end‑to‑end payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time
  • Administer salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions, including benefits contributions
  • Support the administration of employee benefits such as pensions and health schemes
  • Support in preparing payroll reports, summaries, and data for audits and analysis
  • Respond to employee queries relating to pay, deductions, and tax matters
  • Support internal and external payroll audits
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of system updates and advancements on our HRIS
  • Issue contracts, offer letters, and changes to terms and conditions as required
  • Maintain and update the HR/Payroll System: Ensuring employee records are accurate, up‑to‑date and compliant
  • Support onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including preparing contracts and employee documentation
  • Monitor, delegate and respond to queries in the HR inbox
  • Support the wider HR Team with administrative duties as and when required
