Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble valve and cylinder assemblies for inspection and maintenance
- Replace defective parts and reassemble components for testing
- Perform hydrostatic testing of cylinders in line with Department of Transport standards
- Charge assembled cylinders up to pressures of 4500 PSI
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with quality and safety regulations
- Provide additional support to the safety inflatable team as needed
Experience & Qualifications
- Engineering/workshop experience
- Familiarity with oxygen systems, cylinder charging, and valve overhaul is advantageous
- Ability to interpret and follow compliance manuals (essential)
- Minimum GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
