Setting: Children’s Home

Salary: £58,000 (negotiable)

Location: Chatham

Ready to lead and make a difference? A growing, values-led children's residential care provider in Chatham, Kent is looking for an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to lead one of their homes.

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring Ofsted compliance, leading and developing your team, and maintaining high standards of care while achieving positive outcomes for young people. The organisation has a strong focus on trauma-informed care, positive relationships and creating safe, nurturing environments where children can thrive, with excellent support and opportunities for professional development.

We're looking for an experienced Registered Manager with a proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspections, strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for child-centred care.

About you:

  • Previous experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager within a children’s residential service
  • Proven track record of Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspection outcomes
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare/willing to work towards
  • Confident in managing budgets, compliance and quality assurance processes
  • Right to work in the UK – please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position
