Could you make a difference to someone's day, every weekend? A leading care provider is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Weekend Care Assistant to join their team within a welcoming residential care setting. This service provides high-quality care and support for older adults, including those living with dementia and other age-related conditions, in a warm, person-centred environment where residents are encouraged to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

As a Weekend Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their day-to-day needs, helping them to enjoy each day through personalised care, companionship and meaningful interaction. To be successful, you will have previous experience supporting older people, excellent communication skills and a caring, empathetic approach. This is a permanent weekend role, covering 23 hours over Saturday & Sunday!

Person specification:
  • Caring, compassionate with a genuine desire to support older people
  • Previous experience in care, support or healthcare setting would be desirable
