Our client, a leading aviation company based in Stansted, is currently looking to recruit a Gas Cylinder Technician. They provide comprehensive training, career progression opportunities, and a strong team culture.
About the role
This role involves the repair, testing, and overhaul of valve and cylinder assemblies, including hydrostatic testing and high-pressure charging up to 4500 PSI.
Key responsibilities:
- Strip down and rebuild valve assemblies
- Inspect, clean, and replace defective components
- Conduct hydrostatic testing per Department of Transport regulations
- Charge completed assemblies up to 4500 PSI
- Support the safety inflatable team when required
What we're looking for
Experience:
- Proven background in gas cylinder fitting - at least 2 years experience
- MRO experience is highly desirable
- Ability to follow detailed compliance manuals (Essential)
- Experience in the Avionics industry
Qualifications:
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
