A specialist school in Chelmsford is looking for a Lead Speech and Language Therapist (Band 7 equivalent) to join its growing multidisciplinary team in a leadership capacity. In this role, you will work across both primary and secondary provisions, supporting children and young people at different stages of their education, while also providing clinical leadership, supervision and guidance to the wider therapy team. Person Specification
- Degree in Speech & Language Therapy with full HCPC registration
- Experience in a Senior or Lead role (Band 7 equivalent)
- Previous experience working with children & young people
- Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check
- Experience within SEMH, CAMHS or a similar specialist setting is essential
- Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with additional needs
