Location: Bournemouth (Hybrid)

We’re working with a high-performing technology business in Bournemouth that’s scaling fast and investing heavily in its technical leadership layer. They’re now looking for a Lead Technical Engineer someone who still loves being hands-on but also wants real influence over technology, standards, and direction. This role sits right at the intersection of engineering and leadership.
You’ll be the technical escalation point, guiding other engineers, shaping infrastructure decisions, and leading complex cloud, infrastructure, and security work. No politics. No endless approvals. Just ownership, trust, and the freedom to build things properly.
If you’re currently a strong 3rd Line / Senior Engineer doing leadership without the title (or pay), this is the role that finally gives you both.
