We are working with one of Manchester's most forward-thinking MSPs, known for their technical excellence, innovation, and investment in people. They are now looking for a 2nd Line Engineer to join their talented team and become part of a company that builds careers, not just jobs.
You will be supporting a wide range of clients, technologies, and projects, with direct exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, networking, and virtualisation. From day one, you will be surrounded by senior engineers who will help you develop toward 3rd Line, Infrastructure, or Cloud roles through hands-on project work, mentoring, and structured certifications. This is the perfect opportunity for a driven, technically curious engineer who wants to level up fast in a company where your growth actually matters.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365 & Active Directory
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals - DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls
- Exposure to virtualisation (Hyper-V / VMware)
- Experience with Azure or cloud services (desirable)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- MSP experience is ideal, but not essential for the right candidate
