We're partnered with a modern and growing Managed Service Provider that's continuing to expand its technical offering across cloud infrastructure, cyber security, and managed IT services. They're now looking for a motivated 2nd Line Engineer to join their technical team and develop their career within a highly supportive environment.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants to gain exposure to more than traditional IT support. You'll work across a diverse range of client environments, resolving escalated technical issues while developing your knowledge across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, cloud infrastructure, and cyber security technologies.
You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved with infrastructure improvements, cloud projects, security initiatives, and technical deployments, working alongside experienced engineers and gaining valuable hands-on experience with modern technologies.
The company is committed to developing its technical team, providing training and genuine opportunities to progress into 3rd Line, Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, or Cyber Security roles. Required Skills:
- Experience working in a 2nd Line IT Support role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server & Active Directory
- Good networking knowledge including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls
- Interest or experience in Cloud Infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities
- A genuine interest in Cyber Security and modern IT technologies
- MSP experience is highly desirable but not essential
