Duties
The post holder will be responsible for leading a variety of manufacturing cells, ensuring that all safety, quality, delivery and cost targets are achieved and in accordance with the safe/standard working procedures. The role requires the completion of all production tasks including inspection, packing, boxing, labelling and the operation of production machinery.
Required Experience
- Prior experience in a leadership role e.g., Team Leader/Supervisor – 2 years.
- Educated to a GCSE standard or equivalent and/or have at least 2 years’ experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Highly computer literate and able to effectively use MS Office software and support members in its use.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work within health and safety guidelines as laid out by the management.
- Ability to operate machinery once trained.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks at pace to achieve targets.
- Ability to read, understand and complete quality documentation.
- Demonstrated initiative and proactive approach.

Language Requirements
This position requires knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties involved, including regular communications outside the province of Quebec, training, email communications, and frequent meetings and interactions with English-only employees.
