We offer electron beam, gamma, X-ray, ethylene oxide and vaporized hydrogen peroxide technologies for the purpose of product sterilization.

Whether that product be a single use medical device, consumables in a hospital environment, cosmetics and toiletries, or industrial products, we make sure everything that makes its way to an end user is safe for use or consumption.

This role will be specifically focussed on our Ethylene Oxide sites across the EMEA region, and can be based anywhere in mainland Europe.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Work as member of the EMEA Engineering Managers team supporting EO sites to improve plant and equipment reliability, maximize availability, and reduce downtime and non-conformances.
  • Drive initiatives for plant modernization and mitigation of obsolescence risks
  • Support the development of CAPEX and OPEX plans.
  • Contribute to Quality performance improvements
  • Promote Health & Safety initiatives to ensure safe and compliant operations.
  • Implement monitoring and performance tracking solutions to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Supervise site engineering budgets, capital investments, and expenses for the relevant field (contracts, parts, services).
  • Define and oversee the implementation of suitable preventive and predictive maintenance activities, based on field data collection and analysis.
  • Support sites in defining and implementing corrective and improvement actions.
  • Liaise with site maintenance and operations managers to minimize operational disruption during engineering and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure the development of a standardized spare parts policy and availability across sites.
  • Act as the point of contact between sites and major/critical technical suppliers and contractors; facilitate their activities.
  • Propose and implement technology innovations
  • Ensure safe engineering practices by development of an effective safety culture, enforcement of safety practices in compliance to internal and external requirements and regulations.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of maintenance processes and activities in line with STERIS world class safety objectives and the Quality management system.
  • Ensure that the Engineering team operates within and towards the published STERIS Corporate vision and global objectives, including LEAN, 5S, Sustainability and One Team One Goal strategies.
  • Apply to STERIS Values, culture and ethos managing the business, it’s Customers and staff.
  • Required Experience
  • Bsc in Engineering or 7-10 years of experience in lieu
  • Full valid drivers license
