We are currently recruiting for a Driver vacancy. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business at entry level and receive world class training. You must hold a full and up to date license. This is a Zero hours contract role.
What Is Involved:
- Ensuring vehicles are driven in line with all current applicable legislation, company policies and procedures.
- Daily Health and Safety vehicle inspections.
- Report all traffic accidents involving any company vehicle to the company insurer immediately in accordance with their requirements in addition to notifying line manager.
- Responsibility for the safe carriage of goods to comply with the basic rules of the Transport Act 1968.
- Maintain and organise planned preventative maintenance i.e. servicing of all company vehicles and organise alternative vehicle cover when necessary.
- Maintain effective vehicle mileage logs and submit the mileage records to the Administration Staff on a weekly basis.
- Shall ensure all delivery schedules are met in accordance with the daily requirements of the service.
