Mon-Thu: 08:00-16:30 Fri: 07:00-12:45 (37.5 hours per week)
What You Will Do
- Lead the day to day operation of the Warehouse & Distribution function, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant handling of all inbound, internal, and outbound materials.
- Maintain inventory integrity and traceability through accurate ERP transactions, effective stock control processes, and disciplined adherence to FIFO/FEFO.
- Ensure warehouse activities fully comply with the site Quality Management System.
- Drive a strong HSE culture through safe systems of work, hazard identification, MHE compliance, and proactive risk management.
- Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse colleagues, supporting skills growth, engagement, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational flow, space utilisation, and efficiency through continuous improvement and Lean principles.
- Monitor and improve key warehouse KPIs, supporting the site's commitment to operational excellence and perfect order performance.
- Work collaboratively with Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, and Logistics to ensure smooth and reliable material flow supporting production demands.

What You Will Need
- Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling leadership role within manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes including goods in, goods out, stock control, and ERP transactions.
- Valid Fork Truck License (desirable Reach Truck).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build positive working relationships at all levels.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong organisational, problem solving, and decision making abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Experience With Lean Tools Or Continuous Improvement Methodologies (preferred).
- A full clean UK driving licence (desirable).
