Training and Working Pattern
Saturday & Sunday only, 8am-4pm
What You Will Do
- To collect and deliver medical equipment to and from all required locations at all customer locations, completing any tasks required upon delivery such as unloading or placing endoscopes into drying cabinets etc.
- To carry out stores duties as required to include general stores, medical consumables and delivery of these.
- To respond to all fast-track requests to ensure customer needs are met.
- To work in the dispatch areas of both Sterile Services and Endoscopy as required.
- To clean and make ready for use transport trollies and boxes, when trained to maintain trollies in a fit for use state.
- To load safely, the transport trollies to allow delivery of sterile goods.
- To act as a ‘drivers mate’ as required and where an appropriate licence is held, drive company vehicles to complete collections and deliveries.
- Where needed and trained, cover technician duties within the Sterile Services and Endoscopy department.
- To support the general maintenance of the unit.
- Any other duties as required.
Required Experience
- Educated to a good general standard with demonstrable verbal and numerical abilities.
- Basic end-user IT skills to operate track and traceability IT systems.
- Face to Face communication.
