About Us:
At Steris AST, we are trusted experts in neutral sterilization, offering radiation and gas technologies.
We provide electron beam, gamma, X-ray, ethylene oxide, and vaporized hydrogen peroxide technologies for product sterilization. Whether the product is a single-use medical instrument, a hospital environment, cosmetics, toiletries, or food products, we ensure everything reaching the end user is safe for use or consumption.
Work Schedule:
- Week 1: 06:00-14:00
- Week 2: 10:00-18:00
- On call night cover: 1 in 5 weeks
What is involved
Quality
- Adhere to quarantine processes following defined procedures.
- Label customer products and place dosimetry in accordance with SOPs.
- Complete all forms to required standards.
- Report process, job-related problems, or discrepancies to the Team Leader/Supervisor.
- Follow procedures to ensure compliance with product segregation standards.
- Strictly adhere to Site GMP Quality Standards.
- Assist in non-conformance and root cause analysis investigations and reporting.
- Record and report all damages using site procedures.
- Read dosimetry readings.
Cost
- Complete run sheets.
- Contact support services (Maintenance, IT, QA, Management) when plant faults occur.
- Adhere to processing schedules and paperwork requirements.
Delivery
- Load and unload customer products from trailers using a forklift.
- Load and unload totes (Auto Plant).
- Update Plant SQDC boards and attend daily PIT meetings.
- Identify, verify, and label customer products, placing correct dosimeters/BIs as per SOPs.
- Process products according to parameters and instructions.
- Assist in handover procedures, ensuring records and standards are maintained.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements of Site 5S Standards.
- Participate in regular 5S audits and follow-up actions.
- Complete standard work daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Ensure cleaning standards are met and records are maintained.
- Manage consumable stock levels and report re-order points.
Safety
- Share responsibility for security and safety of premises and goods.
- Report safety concerns and escalate appropriately.
- Wear PPE throughout shifts.
- Report any incidents or safety violations.
- Conduct regular safety checks.
- Assist with site security, including visitor management and alarm activation/deactivation.
People
- Work towards deputizing for the Team Leader when needed.
- Perform tasks safely, maintaining equipment and using protective gear.
- Undertake required training.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience.
- FLT license.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with PC.
