About Us: At Steris AST we are the trusted experts in neutral sterilization offering includes radiation and gas technologies. We offer electron beam, gamma, X-ray, ethylene oxide and vaporized hydrogen peroxide technologies for the purpose of product sterilization. Whether that product be a single use medical instrument, a hospital environment, cosmetics and toiletries, or food products, we make sure that everything that makes its way to an end user is safe for use or consumption.
Working hours: Nights 3on- 3off, 18:00-6:00
What is involved:
- Quality: Adhere to quarantine process in line with defined procedures.
- Label customer products, place dosimetry on customer products inline with current SOP’s.
- Ensure all forms are completed to the required standards.
- Alert the Team Leader / Supervisor to any process, job related problems or discrepancies.
- Follow procedures to ensure compliance with product segregation standards.
- Strict adherence to Site GMP Quality Standards.
- Assist in Non conformance and root cause analysis investigations and reporting.
- Record all damage is contained and reported using site procedures.
- Reading Dosimetry Cost Completion of run sheets.
- Take the initiative in contacting the support services such as Maintenance, IT, QA and Management in the event of Plant faults when appropriate.
- Adhere to processing schedule/paperwork requirements.
Delivery:
- Loading and Unloading of Customer product from trailers using a forklift truck.
- Loading and unloading of totes (Auto Plant).
- Assist in updating Plant SQDC boards and attend daily PIT meetings.
- Identify, verify and label customer’s product and place the correct dosimeters/BIs as defined in standard operating procedures.
- Process all Customer’s product in line with processing parameters and any special instructions.
- Assist in the handover ensuring all relevant records and standards are adhered to.
- As part of the team constantly improve the Site 5S Standards throughout the duration of the shift.
- Assist in regular planned 5s Audits and action follow up.
- Complete standard work daily, weekly and monthly.
- Ensure cleaning of areas to specified standards are completed at the end of each shift and cleaning register completed daily.
- Secondary duties to be carried out as per site internal procedures.
- Consumable stock to be counted and recorded daily, highlight to site management when re-order point levels have been reached.
Safety:
- Share responsibility for the security of the premises and Customer goods.
- Identify and report safety concerns using site procedure and elevate to the appropriate Supervisor or site safety representative.
- Wear appropriate PPE throughout the shift.
- Report all SOV COSHH product not as per current Site Regulation.
- Conduct and report regular safety checks to management.
- Assist with site security, including visitors on site and activation and deactivation of alarms.
- Record and report any incidents to Site Management inline with ERP.
People:
- Work towards Deputising for the Team Leader when appropriate, or as directed.
- Ensure that all tasks are performed with due recognition of safety and environmental risks, maintaining equipment and wearing protective clothing at all times, as appropriate.
- Undertake required training, as directed.
Required Experience:
- 2 years of warehouse experience.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic PC knowledge.
