The Sterilization Manager – Gas EAS has primary global responsibility for Gas validations performed by the Sterigenics Scientist team. The Sterilization Manager - EAS reports to Director Gas EAS. Direct reports to the Sterilization Manager are Gas Scientists. Travel will be required. Home office or facility based as agreed with Management.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the Gas Scientist staff
  • Responsible for tracking workload and ensure appropriate balance across the group
  • Responsible for ensuring department goals and metrics are achieved
  • Along with the Gas validation staff, assist in customer and internal support for validation related questions and challenges
  • Develop and implement appropriate training and development tools for Sterigenics corporate and facility validation teams
  • Ensure team participation in the Scientific Communities of Practice, including setting project goals for team members
  • Understanding of regulatory standards for Gas sterilization, particularly as related to validation
  • Demonstrate leadership and participate in applicable ISO committees related to Gas processing
  • Monitor the costs associated with the project as quoted and inform Sales when quote amount is exceeded

Education / Experience (Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline such as Engineering or Science
  • Ten or more years of industry experience, with specific experience in validation
  • Detailed knowledge of ISO standards related to EO processing
  • Good Project Management skills
